Bad Power Supply

Is there a typical falure in the 65 watt power supplies? I have had the t60 for about two years now. I have kicked the cord about three times or so. Everything is find with the new supply. The 20v tip has no voltage.

I bought a replacement and if i could repair the broken unit, would use it as a back up.
