Replace backlight on T60 14" SXGA

My backlight has gone out a few times today--I can barely see the contents of my desktop in the black screen. Sleeping/waking up the computer restores the backlight, somehow.
Additionally, the last few weeks I've noticed that the screen as a pink hue when I start up the computer. The pink hue seems to be getting worse (pinker) at startup, but it always fades away.
Finally, I notice that sometimes today there has been a quick, faint flickering (like a CRT monitor with its refresh rate set a little too low).
My thinking is that the LCD backlight (CCFL) or the inverter needs to be replaced. I've seen that lots of people have done this on T4x and older systems but I've not seen anybody say they've done it successfully on a T60.
Additionally, I am not sure where I can buy the CCFL.
Any pointers would be very much appreciated.
I know there is a guy on these forums that does CCFL replacements but I'd like to do it myself if possible.
