MY T61p Freezes when I move the laptop around, HELP!!!

#1 Post by TheLaughingMan » Thu Mar 06, 2008 12:34 pm

I just replaced my HDD to a faster one, and I notice that everytime I move it around, the office/home, it freezes just a few seconds later after I set it down and try to use it. What should I do?

I only carry it vertically when its hibernating or shut off, If its on then I hold it horizontally.

I used the hard-drive holder thing that was in the original hd that came w/ the notebook on my new hd.

Maybe it does not like the HDAPS. (Hard drive active protection system.) Try shutting it off, it is the green cylinder thing in the systray.

or you can adjust its sensitivity but that's what it sounds like is going on.
