Quick Question - About to buy T61

Okay, so I am about to buy a Core 2 Duo 8100 laptop.
It comes with Vista, and I don't want Vista.
How difficult will it be to wipe Vista clean, and install a fresh copy of XP?
Difficult? Problems?

It's very easy, you can even buy Downgrade media from lenovo as long as you've a qualified system. There have also been many guides posted on this forum for the clean install of Windows XP, just search for them.

A number of owners have found the investment in the T61 XP Product Recovery discs from Lenovo has saved a lot of time, and provides a running XP system straight away.

I have a T42 now that I just started experiencing problems with. Can I use XP Pro from it on the T61?
