Big favour from someone with a WUXGA display, please?

I have screwed up the settings for my display, which is an LG Philips LP154WU1. The WUXGA displays (1920x1200) are either made by LG or Samsung in the T61, and I have the LG.

I am hoping some kind soul with the LG LP154WU1 display in their T61p (not the Samsung) might download powerstrip and install it briefly enough to get the display settings I need. The program is free, and you can safely uninstall it afterwards.

Once it's installed, and you've rebooted, right click on the tray/notification area icon, and select Display profiles > Configure and then select "Advanced timing options". The values I need are under "Horizontal geometry" and "Vertical geometry" - just the values in Hz, pixels, and lines. So, under "Horizontal geometry": Scan rate, Active pixels (should be 1920), Front porch, Sync width, Back porch, Total. And under "Vertical geometry": Refresh rate, Active, Front porch, Sync width, Back porch, and Total. I don't need any of the microseconds values.

Also, I need to know which boxes are checking on the left hand side under "Synchronization", in particular whether "Composite sync" is or not. Also, if the "Horizontal" and "Vertical" are + or -.

After that, you can uninstall the program, and everything will be as it was.

I'd really appreciate it!

Why don't you just go into safe mode (so the driver isn't loaded) and uninstall it so whatever settings you forced are erased?
