Video Out problem

I have a t61 with the nvidia quadro nvs 140. Nvidia's spec page says it supports tv out, but the only port is vga and my tv doesnt have a vga input, it does have s-video though. So I bought this adapater:

Unfortunately, I'm not having any success getting it to work. I've been playing around with the video settings and nothing so far. Anyone have any suggestions?

Unfortunately the t61 does not have video out through VGA.

With only Svideo you won't get much resolution anyway.
