T61 and T61P, Defining Difference . . .

I would really appreciate confirmation.
I have been searching both here and the Lenovo site regarding the differences betweent the T61 and T61P. Several posts said the T61P was "a little more expensive but 'better' " . . . I'd really appreciate confirmation on the differences.
From what I have been able to find, in regards to these two versions (T61 and T61P)...when considering a 14" screen (vs 15" because it will be carried around all day), the only difference between the two is:
T61:
nvidia 140m (128MB)
WXGA+ (or WXGA)
T61P:
nvidia 570m (128MB)
SXGA+
-Is this true...are these the only two differences?
I will be comparing documents side by side a great deal of the time, so the wide screen is particularly appealing to me.
-For a 14" widescreen . . . only the T61 (not T61P) is availalble, right?
Both the NVidia 140M and 570M are 128MB cards, true? (with the 570M being a little faster and better in 3D graphics?).
-So bottom line, would it be fair to say, the T61P is not built any better or is not a better machine (than the T61)... but that they are really identical computers with the exception that the T61P possess a different screen and has a somewhat faster/more advanced graphics card?
Lastly, I know this is a tired and somewhat impossible question ( I apologize) . . . in terms of technology, is now a good time to buy . . . is anyone aware of some vastly superior or better T-series coming out in the near future that would suggest one should wait a little while longer?
Thank you very much!
