Where is the SIM card slot located?

Hi,
I have a 2623DDU with an MC5720 WWAN card in it. Recently I want to upgrade it to MC8775.But I heard someone said that MC8775 needs a SIM card to make it work, but the SIM card slot is not located on the MC8775 WWAN card itself but somewhere else in the laptop.
What I want to know is that is this upgrade possible? Does 2623DDU have a SIM card slot in it?

if you get a mc5720, you don't get a sim slot, you need order from lenovo, cost you around usd$25, plus seen you can only use mc8775 from lenovo or you need bios whitelist here. (here is a great community and many Great Men here.)

the slot is the thin slot inside your battery slot

Do I have to remove the keyboard when I install the SIM card slot?

Yes, you need remove both hand rest and keyboard to change the mc8775 and install the sim slot. I try take a photo, but haven't upload here before, will try..
