Hi all
It was quite a bother to see the machine heat up a lot. Got the temperature readings and realized that 90 deg C is crossed quite commonly while making normal use (programming, compiling, surfing in parallel). btw, I use Mandriva linux.
I cleaned up the machine (went over with a vacuum cleaner) after removing the palm-rest and the keyboard. I am pleased to report that now we are hovering at sweet 60 !!
So, after about 15 months of use I opened it up for the first time and the results are very good. Looks like a cleanup per quarter will keep things in check.
Cheers
Chetan
