I am using high resolution pictures on my screensaver and I've noticed on my T60p--you can see the the colors break up or gradation very strong.. example like on sky background where the shadings are very subtle on my r50p but on the T60P the sky looks like water ripple effect with the gradation of colors. some pix are ok and some has this ripple water effect.. ..Is this a LCD issue or video card?
I ran PC dr on the video card/CPU /motherboard all tests came back OK...

Check to make sure that your video color quality is set to "Highest" 32 bit. The effect you describe will occur at low resolutions.

Because the CCF in LCD has a definitive life span of a few thousand hours, best is to turn off the LCD instead of using screen saver.
