Custom install for 1st time TP is turned on?

#1 Post by rmendoza » Sun Mar 23, 2008 5:51 pm

Hey everyone,

I think I read something about this topic in this forum, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it. So, here it is:

Is it possible to get into the preboot section the first time one turns on a TP, right out of the box? Is it possible to tell it not to install some programs, even before the initial set up, thereby avoiding uninstallation of some programs or a clean reinstall of the OS? Thanks.

MOD EDIT: I didn't realize it was a duplicate thread.

Yes, it's possible, just press the Blue button during boot and follow-up.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.
