Questions about warranty upgrade

#1 Post by EricRC » Thu Mar 27, 2008 8:47 pm

Hi,
My T60p has a 3 year depot warranty(maybe also known as EZserv) till Aug 09. I'm considering extending the warranty. An onsite warranty is not necessary for me. Can I purchase another 3 year depot warranty?
I checked on Lenovo's site and found this option
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/cont ... 259BA66690
What does "ADP" stand for?
Thanks :)

ADP = Accidental Damage Protection.

ADP cannot be purchased for your machine now.

It will be in your best interest if you buy the warranty service by calling IBM EasyServ instead of purchasing it online.

With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."

Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Ok. Thanks :)
When I purchase the warranty from IBM EasyServ,do I have to send the laptop to Lenovo or do I just need to make a call and provide some information of the machine ??

You just need to place a call at 1-866-968-4465 (9-7pm EST).

Thank you for your information.
BTW, do you know how much does one year of depot warranty cost? :)
