all my company configurations state we must have the 14.1 inch screen T61's. Can I buy a Quadro FX 256 video card off ebay and drop it in?

No, it is permanently attached to the motherboard. Only way is to switch motherboards, and that's assuming the motherboards with 256 will fit.

Possible to upgrade my T61 to Quadro FX 256 video?
