T60(X1400) and Advanced Mini Dock: random white line problem

Hi I recently bought an advanced mini dock from a nice member here, everything works great except that some random white lines show up during post and when windows starts loading up. This only happens if the monitor is hooked up via DVI connection. With VGA, there is no problem at all. I tried hooking up the monitor using VGA connection on the dock and a VGA-DVI adaptor to the DVI port of the monitor and white lines don't show up either.

Just wondering if any member here got the same problem as mine. Is this a sign of video card failing in my T60 or it's the dock?

Also, if I hook the monitor up via DVI when Windows is up running, I cann't use Fn+F7 to toggle display, simply nothing on the monitor, however everything is fine with VGA connection.
Is this normal?

Thanks a lot.
Everybody have a good weekend :)

hmm.. weird.. i'd say it's the dock. I have one too and my T60 (see sig) doesn't show any of those issues when connected. Maybe it could be drivers also cuz i'm using Vista which ofcourse is a bit different.

I would try different drivers first i guess.

thanks for the reply, shotta,
I don't think it's a driver issue since it happens during post.
To be on the safe side, I just tried the following things things:
First unplug everything except dvi cable from the dock, then
1) remove harddrive,
2) remove optical drive
3) remove added memory
4) remove original memory(keep the added memory)
5) remove mini-pcie card

still the same, white lines during post (sometimes even colored lines).

:(

btw, your t60 is exactly the same as mine except the wireless card. :o
