Another Docking Station Issue

Hello all,
I have a T60P with advanced docking station. Ever since installing Vista SP1, I have this issue: When the laptop is in sleep/standby mode and dock it, then push the power button on the docking station to wake it back up - I get a blue screen of death with these details:

Problem signature:
Problem Event Name: BlueScreen
OS Version: 6.0.6001.2.1.0.256.6
Locale ID: 1033

Additional information about the problem:
BCCode: 7f
BCP1: 00000000
BCP2: 00000000
BCP3: 00000000
BCP4: 00000000
OS Version: 6_0_6001
Service Pack: 1_0
Product: 256_1

Files that help describe the problem:

...

Anyone know what is causing this, and if there are any solutions? I called Lenovo to open a trouble ticket and the guy on the phone said the best thing he could suggest is rolling back SP1 to vanilla Vista.

Thanks!

Look to see if the driver (cmdide.sys) is installed. I don't know of any compatibilty issue with Vista and this driver, But it may lead you further up the path to a resolution.

Good Hunting :x

I have a T61 with XP and docking and undocking has always been pretty quirky. Never BSOD though.

Hi! Andrew:

What a great TP --I love the T61! What dock are you using with it? (you've haven't designated a gender have you) Please give us more detail on what "quirky" behavior you've noticed and if you intend to install Vista anytime soon or at all.
