Changing motherboard and Prod. ID number.

Recently Ive bricked my x1400 mobo when I was upgrading my bios.. so I decided to upgrade my t60 using a v5250 motherboard.
as I replaced the board I inserted the Prod ID of the old motherboard into the new one.. Everything went fine.
Now I decided to upgrade the bios with a new version.. here is the deal.. Is there any possibility that bios installer flash the v5250video eeprom using the x1400 video bios?
