Thanx for a quick reply. yeah I used F1 key and I got access to BIOS. But in IBM manual they said access BIOS by pressing blue button. Strange! In my case I cant see Access BIOS option in ThinkVantage GUI.
I just disabled annoying finger print authentication and embaded security chip. Unless there is 1 GB ram installed, those features are not worth. Yes security remains intact but my laptop always remains at my home so no worries about theft etc.
1 more question I would like to ask as it seems like your R60 basic config is same as mine. I also have 2300 processor. Any feedback you would like to give after adding 2 GB ram? Or it was pre installed ? I am currently having 512 MB preintalled ram in my T60
and using Windows XP pro which was preloaded as well. I wonder if any good improvements to see by adding 2 GB ram?
I am planning to add 1 GB single DIMM + currently installed 512 MB ram = 1.5 GB ram.

AmeY.
