I am looking forward to some feedback about this SSD before purchasing. Has anybody had experience with this SSD before?

here

The specs seems pretty impressive and easily beats the MTron in term of read speed and IOPS.

I have no personal experience, but see this thread http://forums.storagereview.net/index.p ... opic=26759 on storagereview. My advice would be to either shell out the $$$ for a top SLC SSD (if you have that much money lying around), or wait.

yeah, while the read speeds look great (unless that was photoshoped) the write speeds are kinda crappy still. If it was 120/45MBps then i'd be happy with it but 30 is kinda low, even my 5400RPM drive is better than that now.

I would stay away from it also... i'd rather get a 65/45MB one instead.

Thanks, guy.
The only thing I feel uncomfortable purchasing this SSD is because I have never heard of this brand before. I check out their website:

http://www.mydigitalssd.com/

It looks really unprofessional so I put off the idea of purchasing this.

Did you buy one of these MyDigitalSSD disks? If so, how well does it work?

I was impressed with a SanDisk 32GB SSD that I had in my X60s, but I've since sold that system on.. and would really like an SSD again. I was able to get the SanDisk cheaply, and my source for them seems to have dried up :(

(Tablet + moving around + APS --> hard disk is in an emergency state most of the time!)

Oh, I bought one of the Sandisk 32GB SSD for reliability. For some reasons, I couldn't trust the MLC technology that much because I have a lot of MLC USB drive died on me in the past.
