T60 freezes on hot undock from Essential Port Rep

I know I can't create a docked profile with the essential port rep and I've already had the little rubber tabs put on the two metal posts on the dock. If I'm using it while docked and want to undock, I close the vpn connection and disconnect from the router(via software, not pulling the plug), then hit eject button on dock and notebook pops off. It freezes every single time. I have to force shutdown and reboot, then all is well.
Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Do you have the latest BIOS?. There was a recent fix associated with undocking...

Nope, I don't have the latest BIOS. I'll have to check with our IT department if they can push the update while I'm on VPN or if I can do it myself. We're not using the Lenovo preloaded image, so I better check with them first before I blow up my T60!

Worked perfectly. No more freezing, I can hot undock! SWEET!
