PCMCIA problem

hey folks,
I have a T61P, which is two weeks old, and I use the PCMCIA slots as card readers, and the FIRST time i used the lower port the eject button broke.
It's not a major issue, but now the little button is always sticking out halfway.
Has anyone else has this problem? I am not particularly interested in sending the machine to lenovo to repair, given it took six weeks to get it in the first place.
