Lid locks

Hi,

I have troubles opening my thinkpad lid. When I slide the button to open the lid, only the right side lock is sliding, but not the left side. So, I have to pry open the lid everytime I close it.

Looks like some link between the left and right locks has been broken. Anybody know how to fix this?

The only way to fix it is to remove the LCD bezel and see what is broken or out of alignment. The latches on the T6X series are one piece and only orderable from Lenovo as part of an LCD cover kit. That kit is $107 from Lenovo US. Good luck finding them on EBay too. You might have luck posting an ad in the marketplace forum here. If the machine is under warranty, call Lenovo.
