T61 beeps randomly

I am having the a very strange issue with a T61 (6457). The laptop emits 3 beeps from the planar every 30 minutes or so. The beeps are definitely system and NOT OS. It's basically beeps codes but beep codes while inside the OS. Has anyone experienced this before? I am wondering if the planar is starting to go bad.
