hi AlexanderT,

Unfortunatlely this new release does not solve the problem.
I applied it with my notebook as defined in signature going from T7700 to T9300 but I still have a message about thermal sensor

the only way out, after message related to thermal sensor at boot, is to press esc keystrike and that's it until a solution is found for that.

you mean pressing ESC during boot, your TP continues?

When i installed the T8xxx it shows the Thermal Sensor error and then it shuts down.

Please let me know if that is the case.

Hi Sokos,

Yes press esc just after the boot, it will work.
If you do not press anything just after the message, the notebook reboots.

It is the price to get additional performance while upgrading to T9300 until a solution is found out.

In mine, it works (upgraded from T7700 to T9300).
I am using tfpfancontrol to monitor and adjust temps.

Had to go back to 2.14 on my T61 7663-PJG with Vista, had to open the lid and log in when docking it to get it to display anything on the external screen.

@akim: do you think tpfancontrol is necessary in Windows?

@mk1: try using presentation director and build a new "scheme" that suites you.
i also dock my T61 in office to an external DVI samsung monitor.
