#1 Post by maniko » Sat May 03, 2008 10:00 am

i put the Cd1 into dvd combo drive
then t60 entered the recovery setup automatically
but after i had entered Y, Y, Y, to its' confirmation of recovering
without 10 seconds, it said the RECOVERY IS CPMPLETE

i never tried this problem before....
any ideas???

( i have just upgraded the BIOS & CPU Chipset driver + display driver one week ago)

Format your entire HDD including all partitions and specifically the hidden partition and then try again.
"I've come a long, long way," she said, "and I will go as far,
With the man who takes me from my horse, and leads me to a bar."
The man who took her off her steed, and stood her to a beer,
Were a bleary-eyed Surveyor and a DRUNKEN ENGINEER.

Use a third party software like GParted or Cute Partition Manager, and again format the entire HDD and not just one partition.

Their websites should be able to tell you details on using them.

You're supposed to burn either one of them to a CD/DVD disk and then boot from it to format the HDD.
