T61 w/ wireless "N" works with Airport?

I have a two month old T61 with the N wireless card option.

Will this configuration work with Apple's Airport Extreme wireless system?

most certainly. As long as everything is setup correctly in the router (WPA2+AES) then you'll get N speeds and all that :)
