right now my T60 running Intel integrated graphic card and the LCD max official resolution is 1024x768. That's quite small. Is there a hack so I can push it to higher resolution?
Thanks.

no hacks, the LCD you bought is a XGA model and therefore that's all you'll get from it. You can't really create more pixels as it's using what it has. To get higher resolution you'll need to replace the LCD with a higher pixelled one. The intel chipset is not your problem by the way, you can use it on higher LCDs also.

There are at least two work-arounds (neither of which may be ideal in your situation):
1. get an external LCD monitor with a higher resolution.
2. choose a higher virtual resolution via software. You'll still only see 1024x768 pixels at a time but you can scroll the screen. Do this to enable it:
- a) go to "Display Properties"
b) click on "Advanced" (a new window pops up)
c) go to the "Monitor" tab
d) make sure "Hide modes that this monitor cannot display" is unchecked
e) click on "OK" (this window closes)
f) choose a higher resolution by moving the slider to the right (experiment and pick one you like)
g) click "Apply" or "OK" as desired
h) done (when you move your mouse pointer to the right, down, left, or up, the screen will scroll automatically)
