t61p minor graphics problem

My problem is not a major one. Today, I decided to test out the gaming capabilities of my t61p with Battlefield 2142. On the highest settings, everything looked beautiful while maintaining darn good performance! However, about 75% of the time I rode in vehicles, the edges of my screen became hazy and there was a blurred horizontal line that slides down my screen once in awhile. What is the problem? After I get out of vehicles, the problem goes away. Currently using 6.14.11.7471 driver.

that sounds like you got hit with a EMP strike. thats part of the game. that happens if you get hit with an EMP grenade or Strike.

however, this symptom also occurs AS SOON AS I get in the vehicles (like right in the beginning of the game)

I have to say I love the graphics capabilities of the Quadro FX 570M. I can play all my steam games maxxed and Hellgate london on decent settings DX10. However, I do not use the drivers from Lenovo. I downloaded the drivers from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com. You might wanna give them a try. Un-install your current one before you install from laptopvideo2go.

Hey man,

Sorry for the late reply. Anyways, I tried taking some pics but the time I took it didn't have the blurry edges. There was still the annoying horizontal blur line that slides down my screen. I took a short clip of it. Unfortunately, it's 153kbs. I've uploaded it on youtube.
