T60p Crash in acs.exe with Atheros Wireless N & Hibernat

#1 Post by MTUser2007 » Sun May 18, 2008 5:49 pm

Something happened to my T60p, everything used to work, it may have been a windows update, but now every time it goes into hibernate mode, I get a windows error:

acs.exe has caused something in athcfg20.dll.

Also, I used to be able to use Access Connections with the wireless card, now no matter what version is installed, it won't "see" the wireless card so I am stuck using Windows.

The card seems to work fine, it connects at n rate to my linksys router.

Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks.

If possible I would try a booting to your favorite live linux CD to conifrm if the problem lies in your operating system or your hardware.
