Hello:

I read all the posts on running dual external monitors and have some questions. Appreciate clarification based on actual experience---have to buy the parts in the US and get them to India and hence cannot return them. If you think Lenovo's prices are high, the prices in India are even higher (50 to 100%).

System: T61p, 15.4" widescreen (1680x1050), nvidia quad fx 570m with 256MB, Windows XP, 6459-CTO

1. Is the external DB-15 monitor port analog? Please confirm.

2. Is there an external DVI or DVI-D port?

3. Does the ThinkPad Advanced Dock (Model # 250310U) work with my system? Thinkwiki says yes. Lenovo's website is not helpful since I cannot search for approved accessories for my system---6459-CTO is not listed.

4. What is the maximum resolution supported by the VGA port in the ThinkPad Advanced Mini Dock (Model # 250410U)? Does it support 3:4 and 10:16 screens?

1/ Yes
2/ No
3/ Don't know
4/ a/ Don't know /b Any graphic chip support 4/3 and 16/10 ratio.
