T60 blue-screen "MULTIPLE IRP COMPLETE REQUESTS"

Hi all, on my 2-year old T60 which runs a 32-bit WinXP I have lately been getting about one blue-screen crash per week with an error message "MULTIPLE IRP COMPLETE REQUESTS"

Any ideas why this is happening or how it can be cured ?
