is it available or lenovo does not make them anymore?

Almost all are now widescreen and the screens are cheaper and have poor quality in comparison to to older non-widescreen SVGA+ screens of past.

Lenovo killed 15" in 4:3 (non-wide) format about a year ago, and these are not coming back.

Some business partners in Europe still have them though, so that may be your only chance for a new machine of this type.

I will stay with my T60 15" SXGA+ as long as I can .......

So far Vista 64-bit doesn't complain anything. I hope neither will Windows 7.

can you imagine this is the only thing stopping me from moving from my current T43P to T61P ?

i'm thinking to get T60(P) just because of the widescreen

BTW, people have reported success in transplanting T61p mobos to T6x 15" chasis...
