T60 ethernet not working

#1 Post by benplaut » Thu May 29, 2008 1:14 am

Lately, I've been getting a hardware wizard on bootup and device manager giving Code 1 (not configured correctly) on my Intel gigabit ethernet. Reinstalling drivers or disabling-enabling in BIOS hasn't done a thing, so I'm open to suggestions of what to try next.

Doesn't work on the dock either, but the usual lights (dock and notebook) flash as they should when a cable is plugged in.

Ideas?

Sounds software issue to me, the ethernet connectors on the dock and your machine -- they're independent of each other.

If you would like to get some help then you should mention the operating system and few recent activities regarding installation of any service packs or other software (if any) on your machine.
