Sprint Connection Manager and Vista Business

Has anyone had any issues using their thinkpad with a blackberry curve from sprint as a modem. I am using vista business and tried to use both of the options available from sprint for the curve but have not had any success. I was able to use the curve as modem on an xp machine but want to use my vista machine for this. anyone have any ideas? TIA
