Hi,
I got replaced systemboard in my T61p and I'd like to know which FRU is the new systemboard. Is it possible?
Thanks

I am not sure that the following also apply to T6x/p ThinkPad's, but in the T4x/p's you just had to remove the RAM compartment cover as shown in the guide at
How to find IBM laptop motherboard part number or FRU. Maybe the T6x/p mortherboard FRU is also printed below the optional-RAM slot? In such case, you have to remove the palm rest as discussed in the HMM or in the training vedeo's which you can both find at
Lenovo Service and Support Training.
Let us know if this answer your question!

Thanks. Although I hoped for some software way the FRU is accessible after removing memory DIMMs.
