Client Security Solution and Vista

#1 Post by puma » Fri Jun 06, 2008 11:07 am

Is anyone else using Client Security Solution on vista? I would like to know if it bogs down the pc at all. I previously tried it with XP on my old t43 and it slowed the entire boot process down to a crawl. I wanted to give it another try but figure I'd see what other people thought of it. Also I know it works with TPM in the machine, does this mean if someone physically removes the drive they would not have access to the data?

I had CSS in both my TPs, but not anymore. I think Vista overall is slower to boot than XP, but CSS made it worse, hence my decision to nix it. Just my two cents. [/i]

I hear ya. I mean I dont have a problem with vista my tp boots up like a tv turning on. especially since i upgraded the hard drive to a sata II 7200. but i was curious about the css to see if it is just more than a password storage tool.
