T61p - 32 bit Vista Ult - 4GB RAM recognized (pics)

I saw the definitive answer stickied for this topic but I'm having a different result. Here is what I'm using:

operating systems tested:
- vista ultimate 32-bit

system used:
- thinkpad T61p (6459-CTO)
- BIOS 2.18 / 1.08 (7LETB8WW)
- intel core 2 duo T9300 @ 2.5GHz
- nvidea quadro FX 570M @ 256MB
- corsair 2GB DDR2-667 SODIMMs model# VS2GSDS667D2 (2GB x 1)
- Lenovo 2GB DDR2-667 (2GB x 1)
-TOTAL 4GB RAM

Microsoft made a change in Vista service pack 1. It now reports the total amount of RAM installed in system windows. However, the amount addressable and usable by the operating system (which was reported before) has not changed and remains 3 GB for a 32-bit system.

yeah, SP1 shows you how much RAM is in the system but go to the task manager and go to the performance tab. You'll still see it's using about 3GB total even though it's 4GB installed.

Yep...you're both exactly right. Well I guess at least it's a little satisfying to see it listed in properties. :?
