Not sure if I'm missing something obvious here, but how do I set a different resolution for the Thinkpad (T61p) when it's docked to the replicator?

The resolution on the Thinkpad screen itself cannot be lower than 1900 or it is not sharp at all. However, my Dell monitor only supports 1680x1050 max. Doh!

How can I set the Thinkpad to output 1680x1050 ONLY when it's docked?

Just realized I posted this in the wrong forum. Could someone move this to T6x Series forum?

Press Fn-F7 to bring the presentation director. You can create a new profile there for the system when it is docked, with the resolution you desire for your external monitor.

gator - thanks, that is exactly what I wanted. I love how they switch around all these settings and cover them with different software for every new Thinkpad line.
