Software to Unlock FDE drives after Replugging Ultrabay

I have 2 Hitachi 200gb FDE.
One is in my primary drive and the other one is installed in the ultrabay

I put password on both drive.

If I remove the ultrabay and plug it back, windows wouldnt want to detect the ultrabay. I need to shut off the comp and turn it on again...entering the passwords (for main and ultrabay drive)...then I can see the drive again.

Question: Is there anyway that I dont have to keep turn off the machine in order to use the ultrabay after an unplug?

Thanks

Remove the password of Ultrabay's HDD from the BIOS.

no...I still want the password for the ultrabay HDD. After unplugging the Ultrabay and replug it back...the HDD wont be accessible.

I would need to turn off the computer (or hibernate) and turn on again in order to key in the hdd password.

Now, how to unlock the Ultrabay HDD without having to keep turning off the computer?

That's by design. There is no way around it.
