Hi, I recently bought a "new" battery from a store. The battery maximizer shows 0 cycles, but the production date is july 2007. Should I give it back to the store as the battery is more than 1 year old? I mean the main point for aging is time and usage.

What would you suggest for me to do?

at the risk of saying the wrong thing, here...

its a gamble.. :?

you have an excellent case for returning the battery and getting fresh stock..

if it were me and i had got a real bargain vs. paying full price for fresh stock i might keep it..
IF money is a significant consideration..

I will keep it, as the capacity after recalibration is still higher than the capacity by production.

Thanks
