Media Reader On T61

I've been getting used to the latest addition to the stable for a couple days. It's a 15.4" widescreen T61 6460-7EU.

The inbuilt Thinkvantage help labels a slot on the front right as a 4-in-1 Media reader slot. Interestingly, it appears not to be mentioned in the appropriate HMM's description of my unit, and there's no further discussion that I can find in the inbuilt help.

I furthermore don't see any other T61 general manual that might discuss it.

It is rather obvious that the slot won't handle my own camera's SmartMedia card, which "they" consider laughably obsolete these days. But it seems to me that somewhere this reader ought to be mentioned, if only to identify those four media it can supposedly handle.

Can anyone point me to appropriate documentation or confirm that the answer is "it's clearly intuitive and doesn't need to be documented anywhere."

Open the Access Help program on your Thinkpad and search for "4 in 1 Media Card Reader". It'll tell you

6. 4-in-1 Media Card Reader
You can install an SD Card, an xD-Picture Card, a MultiMedia Card and a MemoryStick in the 4-in-1 Media Card Reader of your computer.

I thank you for that info, but I sure can't find it in my particular Access Help! But at least the question has been answered.
