External USB enclosure for UltraBay devices?

#1 Post by runbuh » Mon Jul 21, 2008 7:04 am

Due to the arrival of new hardware, I have a spare internal DVD burner. Does anyone know of an external USB enclosure for UltraBay devices (Lenovo or 3rd Party)?

I tried searching the various forums, but could not find anything definitive. Thanks in advance.

I don't know where you can buy them online, but they do exist. Here's a seller in Taiwan (not related to me): http://goods.ruten.com.tw/item/show?11080703197940

A search of eBay for USB ultrabay under Laptop accessories turned up at least one.

Try this.

Actually, it's not quite English either.

It's nice to know it's actually out there, though.
