T61P and Advanced Dock

Hi,

First post so please be gentle

I have just ordered a T61P which will be delivered this week, and I have already brought a Advanced Dock.

What is the largest screen I could connect to the dock ? I have been looking at the new Dell 2709 Widescreen, which can handle 1920x1200.

The Dell 27" will work fine - either on VGA or (preferably) DVI.

A Dell 30" will also work on DVI with a dual-link cable.

awolfe63 is right. You should have no problems running that monitor, or any other monitor up to 2560x1600, right off the dock with a dual-link DVI cable.

There's also a VGA connector on the Advanced Dock if you want to run an analog monitor.
