1) Warranty, am I still covered (I Replaced the Drive myself) ?
2) The ST9160823AS Seagate drive is not one from IBM, is it compatible and does it support the ACTIVE Protection System.
"When I use the Active Protection System Software from IBM"
I do notice that the icon changes in the SYSTEM Tray to paused
sate when I move the Laptop;
Does this mean (1) or (2) :
(1)
The system "PAUSED the DRIVE" successfully.
(2)
Or does it mean I has sensed motion and issued the "PAUSE COMMAND". (Possibly not pausing the drive.)
