Overheating Problem
Whenever i watch a movie on my IBM T60, i can feel really hot air coming from the fan. Then the laptop freezes and i have to manually turn it off. I have 512mb ram and a 60gb hard drive. Someone told me to replace the hard drive and get 2gb of ram. Will this work or is there something else i have to do?
First of all, you need to take off the keyboard and blow off the dust on/arround the CPU fan assembly. You will notice the difference immediately after that. Second, you need at least 1GB to run XP smoothly; 2GB will be much better.
Core 2 Duo T7600, 3GB DDR2-667 RAM, Main 7K320 320GB 7200RPM + Ultrabay 320GB 5400RPM, ATI FireGL V5250, 15" IPS UXGA, DVDRW, Bluetooth, Atheros ABGN, NMB Keyboard, Fingerprint, Win7 Pro X86 + Vista 64-bit SP2, Advanced Dock.
