WiFi problems after upgrade

I did some surgery on my T61 recently
- Changed the 14.1 screen from WXGA (with a/b/g antenas) to WXGA+ (with a/b/g/n and hsdpa antenas).
- Changed the WiFi card from ThinkPad 11a/b/g card to ThinkPad 11a/b/g/n card.
- added Sierra MC8775 hsdpa card.
- added sim card slot.

After the "surgery" everything seemed to work just fine until Ive checked the WiFi. The WiFi drops, or loses connection, or even just shuts off.
Checked again every cable connection and that all the cards sit well.
Has anyone any idea what it may be? What can I check?

Thanks in advance

Do you still have the old card? Pop it back in and see if it makes a difference. Did you update the drivers for the 'N' card?

unfortunately I dont have the old card
I know for sure that the abgn card i got worked fine before i got it.

after upgrading, vista detected and installed the new card by itself using already installed driver

I will try to grab another card for checking tomorrow

hope i didn't screw something up :?

it was my fault, the grey cable connector was touching left screw holding the wifi card, so i guess it was shorting.
after moving the cable the problem has gone.
