T61 support for SATA 3.0?

I was wondering if the T61 supports the faster SATA 3.0 interface? I'm guessing it does but wanted to make sure.

And I guess a follow up question is, any suggestions on a new drive? I'm thinking something under 200gb, but fast.
Was thinking of this: Western Digital Scorpio Black WD1600BEKT 160GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb
Any thoughts?
