Replace 14.1" LCD T61 (1280x800) for (1440x900)

Dear forum people,
I just stepped on my new T61 14.1" tft screen and it's broken
Since I have to replace it with a new one I was curious if anybody can tell me if I can fit a higher resolution LCD on my T61. My standard resolution is 1280x800 and I have a Quadro NVS 140m video card wich can go higher.

I am 99% sure they are interchangeable.

Is there anybody here who can confirm this perhaps? Untill now I didn't get a smart enough person from lenovo helpdesk on the phone to help me out..

I already swap TFT panels for latpops. It's very easy. Size, connectors, fixations and interface are all standardised. You just have to buy a panel, read the HMM to know how do do it.

Hi Pascal, thanks for your advise. I see you are from Belgium im living in the Netherlands. Do you have advise for me where I can buy a TFT panel? (lenovo directly is awfully expensive).

I buy mine from a french ebay shop. You can find at lcds4less or any other lcd shop. Be sure about the panel you need.

Hi Pascal sorry to bother you again but could you tell the information I need to be sure to get the good type for a 1440x900 WXGA+ screen?
And I spoke with a lenovo partnet wich said to me the quality of screens on other shops so no official lenovo screen is less.
what is your opinion about this?
