Cannot install new Monitor file from Lenovo

#1 Post by jo2008 » Fri Aug 15, 2008 9:55 am

Hi,

I'm trying to update the monitor drivers for the integrated display. Lenovo has brought out a new version that fixes the problem of an error message when opening Photoshop.

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... MIGR-62923

However, I cannot install it. When trying to update the driver as instructed in the readme file, it fails an tells me that the driver is "not digital or not correctly signed". It doesn't show me an "accept anyway" dialog though.

Has anyone achieved to install the update?

Thanks,

Jo

This doesn't solve your problem, but if you're only trying to get rid of the error message, read this thread.

But, I definitely, have to try to install the new monitor profile...

Well, it states in the change log for version 4.10:

Code: Select all

Version 4.10

    * (Fix) An error message for color profile appears when Adobe Photoshop CS2 is launching.

But apart from that, I want to be able to install latest updates, and also b/c I'm about to buy an external display. Just wanna know whether it's my messed up vista that prevents installation or a Lenovo mistake.
