How to activate vista post-clean-install?

I followed NBR's clean install guide (http://forum.notebookreview.com/show....php?t=144783), but did not do the ABR thing. However, I do have the correct key code for my copy of Vista (i.e. not the one printed on the bottom of the computer), so should I just register my copy of Vista online normally, with the correct keycode? Or should I use the one Lenovo gives?

Yes, that should work fine provided it's the same version of vista (basic/premium/busines.....) and the same type (ie oem vs retail). Either key should work if your vista version is OEM.
