T61 wirless power problems

Guys:

Since I bought this stupid t61 laptop with XP professional, the wirless (intel 3965) power goes off, and I had to reboot. I searched the net: they ask us to disable this n that, reinstall the drivers, and so on. I did all these tricks. Now, i am back to square one: the wireless power goes off; i need to reboot. Why can't lenovo guys fix this darn problem? Or is there a quick fix? Is there a permananet solution?

In device manager go into the properties for the WiFi card, click on the advanced tab and make sure Power Save mode is set to disabled.
